ang sagot

Thank you, Jolens and Pampered Princess, for the nomination!

Char.

So eto na.

Jolen’s Questions

1. Excluding social media and blogging platforms, is there any other website that you constantly visit?

Goodreads. Aside kasi sa pagiging frustrated blogger at singer, bookworm ako. Choosing bookworm.

Goodreads works like Facebook. Pinagkaiba lang, hindi puro kakemehan nakikita mo. Books ang bida dito, teh. Hindi kalandian (may hugot, baks). You meet bookish people with the same reading interest as yours or pwedeng diverse. Dyan ko nakilala some of my real life friends na extend more than books ang friendship namin. Ganung level.

2. Let’s say I want to start a twee pop band. Raw guitar sound, anti-folkish vibe, and tamad-tamaran school of singing a la Zooey Deschanel—care to suggest a band name?

Syet. Pwede na bang, “The Jolens Band” or keri na ung URL ng blog mo, “The Jumping Jolens”

3. If I were to visit your city, would you meet up with me so we could make chika in person?

YES.

4. Do you identify as a feminist? Why or why not?

Parang hindi? I’d echo what Lauren Fraser said in her Huffington post, “I’m a woman, and I believe in equality. I also believe there is nothing wrong with a man holding the door open for me or paying me a compliment. These are things our radical feminist friends frequently condemn as patronizing and overpowering. I call it practical and polite.”

Gusto ko ng equality between sexes including the LGBT community. I even pay for my share on dates (unless na lang pakafeeling Belle ako at times or wala lang talaga akong pera).

5. Would you ever consider going vegetarian?

Hindi ko ata kaya. Mamatay ata akong walang karne sa katawan. Pwedeng alisin ko ang pork but not fish, chicken and beef. On second thought, masarap ang lechon. HAHAHAHA.

6. What do you think about President Duterte’s term so far?

Pero ung first few months niya ata yan. Hindi ako dilawan nor am I a Duterte supporter. Anti-poor. Well, hindi ko naman masisisi si Duterte dyan since lower house naman ang nagpanukala nun but still pinupush ng administration yan without even thinking kung anong magiging epekto sa mahihirap na mga Pilipino. May magaganda rin namang keme si PDuts. Sa sobrang dami lang ng mga negative sa administration niya (everyone from his cabinet to his lower and upper house supporters), walang kwenta.

Pero tangina, I pay my taxes. Ayusin man lang sana nila trabaho nila.

Yung traffic na lang, teh. Ireresolve in less than a year? Nieta siya. Isang taon na siya diyan. Matraffic parin. Mas worse pa nga ngayon. Ginawa niya?

Hahaha. O siya. Tama na. Umiinit na ulo ko, baks.

7. Favorite book?

Mahirap ‘tong tanong na ‘to. Every year kasi nagpapalit yan. All time ba? Yung all time ko ata hindi ko narin matandaan ang kwento, chos.

On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta. HAHAHAHA. This started my love for Young Adult Contemporary. Maganda at magaling magsulat si Marchetta. Hindi nakakadugo ng brain. If you like reading Aussie setting novels, try this, Saving Francesca and The Piper’s Son.

8. What’s the last song that got stuck in your head?

Who You Are by Jessie J.

9. Do you ever get hit by a sudden feeling of loneliness? How do you deal with it?

Yes. I run. Dati I go to the mall or do groceries. Yung going to Baclaran, Divisoria, Rizal Park lang, ganern.

10. Anything you want to achieve before the year ends?

I’ve done a series of mistakes in the past 2 years na kelangan kong itama kasi yun naman talaga ang dapat kong gawin. Imbyerna, teh.

Pampered Princess’ Questions

1. What is your dream job?

Journalist. I’m a frustrated writer. I really wanted to get Journalism back in college but since I’m a good daughter, I followed my mom and took nursing though I never ever practiced the profession after I got my license.

2. What is your bugbear and why?

Hmmn. I don’t know if you can classify it as pet peeve. I don’t like being controlled. It irritates me when someone is trying to control my decisions based on their whims.

3. If you are the president what law would you implement?

This is already in the works, the Expanded Maternity Leave.

4. What food would you really love to learn how to cook?

I want to learn how to bake pastries and cakes.

5. What is your favorite season summer, winter, spring, or autumn?

We only have 2 here in the Philippines so I would go with the rainy season. I just love walking under the rain.

6. What is your happiest memory?

The first time I held my daughter.

7. Who is your role model and why?

I don’t know. No one? I know who I wouldn’t want to become, does that count?

8. What would you like to change within yourself?

I’m very impatient and paranoid. If only I could buy patience in a store, they would most likely get out of stock immediately. That’s how badly I need that.

9. What do you think is your most attractive feature or quality?

Hmmn. Partner’s says, it’s my whole personality. Naks.

10. If you was given a million pounds how would you choose to spend it?

Invest it, get what I need in the future and then donate to charity or build my own charity.

– wl, a.

The first time I held my daughter.” Ang ganda at ang sincere. Napa-text tuloy ako sa nanay ko, no joke. Haha.

Susubukan kong basahin ‘yung reading recommendations mo! Good luck sa 2018 girl. Sana ma-resolve ang mga dapat ma-resolve. 🙂
