one word

I started having a word each year in 2014. I was hesitant at first since I was afraid  I won’t be able to live by it for 365 days (or beyond if needed).  A blogger friend, who has been doing this for a long time, inspired me to just do it and see where the word will lead me. What is there to be afraid of? I know there’d be challenges and uncertainties against the word I’ll claim every year but at the end of the day, it’s all for me. I know no matter what the outcome of my word, I’ll get through it. I’ll either come out a different person with a changed heart or just someone who’ve learned a lot the past year.

So let the journey begins.

What’s your word for this year?

Forget New Year’s Resolutions. Scrap that long list of goals you won’t remember three weeks from now anyway. Choose just one word. One word you can focus on every day, all year long… One word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live. It will take intentionality and commitment, but if you let it, your one word will shape not only your year, but also you. It will become the compass that directs your decisions and guides your steps.

Discover the big impact one word can make.

One word. 365 days. A changed life.
